    I tried to test smartmenus with cmsimple – cms before i buy megamenu.

    and had problems with the menu.

    When i klick at a link at the top then the site comes but the klicked field looses its style .
    I compensated this temporarly (green) with a class for span (the are other ways ; a:visited {..} has no effect — but (please see the sitesource) it stayes at the left side of the field – and it is only a compensation of something unclear(ed).

    The still worser point ist that when i klick on submenu-field the site comes and also the klicked sub-field looses its formation but the complete submenu is dead after that.
    I can revive it with a klick on another field at the toplevel.

    I found the solution myself : $(‘div.nav span:first’).remove();

    Smartmenu gets disturbed if the active link has a span – which should not be !
