    Sorry, I thought the problem was solved but it is still there. I have created a test page to illustrate the problem:

    In Firefox, when you hover over the parent, the submenu text seems to fade in, initially appearing thin then becoming thicker. I didn’t get this when using a pure CSS nav solution previously (although this had other more serious issues).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
